When Maybelline comes out with a new mascara, I usually right away buy it because most of the time they end up working out great for me. The original Maybelline Lash Sensational was amazing and made my lashes look fuller, longer, and helped them to stay curled. I was hoping this was going to be an outstanding mascara, but that really wasn't the case. Find out why this mascara didn't work for me below!
Maybelline's Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara has a Fanning Reservoir Brush that envelops lashes with a precious oil-infused formula from root-to-tip while fanning out lashes.
I think what went wrong for me was the brush and the formula. The brush was picking up too much product and every time I would comb through my lashes, the mascara was making them looks clumpy and short. I was getting no length at all and the formula was too wet that my lashes looked messy. It is an oil-infused formula, so that could be the reason why my lashes just were not loving this mascara. I wanted it to be more of a "do everything" mascara, but it ended up doing nothing for my lashes. I might try it again and wipe some product off the brush first to see if that might help.
My experience could be completely different to yours, so I would love to hear how this mascara worked for you if you have tried it.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara retails for $8.99 and can be found at Ulta, Target, CVS, and other retail stores.
