Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette - Photos and Swatches

April 16, 2015

Today I have swatches of the Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette. This is a Sephora exclusive and something that I received from The Makeup Show LA. This palette has 12 eyeshadow ranging from shimmer to matte finishes. I have only tried a few products from Kat Von D in the past, so I was excited to get the chance to try this out. Find out more and see swatches below!

More information on the Kat Von D Innerstellar Palette:
Experience the bolder side of neutral with this lunar-inspired palette of cool, cosmic colors. These 12 new provocative shades are brilliantly arranged into three quads, each featuring a large, versatile base or highlighter shade with a corresponding trio of accent hues—from irresistible silvers to moon-dust nudes and smoldering earth tones in pearl and matte finishes. These ultrasmooth eye shadows are milled with a triple-jet process to yield rich pigment in just one swipe while delivering ultimate blendablity and crease-free wear.
Top row three shadows in Gravitron, Vast, and Lycan.
From left to right: Night Crawler, Dios, Lunacy, Astrological, Darkstar.
Continued: Orion, 3am, Moonshine, and Killing Moon.

This palette really grew on me the more I used the eyeshadows and played around with them. At first, it wasn’t really something I thought I needed since the shadows weren’t jumping out at me. Once I actually got to use it and did some neutral looks with it, I ended up really loving the shades. A few of the shades really made me love the palette like Lunacy, Darkstar, Moonshine and Killing Moon. Others were a bit softer but still great eyeshadows for blending on the lids and using on the lower lash line.

I didn’t realize this when I was using it, but the palette is divided up into three quads, each having a highlight shade and then two accent colors to coordinate together. Of course you don’t have to use the palette that way, but I do like that I can and that it makes it easier.I used an eyeshadow primer since I always do, and the shadow were easy to blend and I didn’t have any problems with creasing or fading. You can tell that they are quality shadows that are smooth and apply with ease.

Kat Von D Innerstellar Eyeshadow Palette retails for $46 and can be found exclusively at Sephora. This is limited edition.

Let me know what you think of this palette!

  1. It's a nice palette but it leans very cool. Not something I could really use.
