April 13, 2014

I’m excited to feature Essence Cosmetics here on my blog! I have products that I have been testing out for a while and will be sharing about them in different posts. Let me first tell you a few things about Essence Cosmetics in case this is your first time hearing about them. Their products are never tested on animals and 95% of products are made in Europe. They are sold in more than 70 countries and all of their products are under $5! This post focuses on the Long Lasting Lipsticks. Find out more and see swatches below!

More information on the Essence Cosmetics Long Lasting Lipsticks:
Smooth and creamy formula. 13 gorgeous, long-lasting shades to choose from. Moisturizing, intensive colors leaves lips soft and smooth. Stays on for hours without the need to reapply.

One thing that I noticed right away before trying the lipsticks was the packaging. I like the black tubes with a ring around the middle of each that match the shade of the lipstick. Also the stamp of the “e" on the lipsticks is a nice touch. I feel like the packaging was well thought out and that makes me love them even more.

The quality of these lipsticks is amazing! They glide on with ease and are really pigmented. My lips can dry out with certain lipsticks, but these kept my lips moisturized throughout the day without feeling uncomfortable. I loved each shade I got but my favorite would be Dare To Be Nude. I love a lipstick shade that I can wear everyday and this one would be it. Wear Berries! would be my second choice and then On The Catwalk!

These are some great lipsticks for the price and I recommend them!

Essence Cosmetics Long Lasting Lipsticks retail for $2.99 each and can be found online or at select Walgreens.

  2. I didn't know Essence was sold at Walgreens, it's not sold at mine anyway. I would love to find these! (As if I need more lipsticks, honestly.)
