NYX Cosmetics The Sex Bomb Shadow Palette - Photos, Swatches, and Review

March 31, 2014

Today I have swatches and review of the NYX The Sex Bomb Shadow Palette. This is a nice little palette that comes with some great shadows. It has 6 eye shadows that you can either wear subtle or more dramatic depending how you use the shadows. See more photos and my review below!

More information about NYX The Sex Bomb Shadow Palette:
Channel your inner sex bomb with this seductive set of six shadows. Truly beautiful and vibrant, these shades were expertly combined in one sexy set to transform you into your day or night alter ego.Whether she comes out everyday, or only on special occasions, your multiple makeup personalities will have fun with this palette.
This palette has really nice pigmentation and the shadows are easy to work with. I honestly didn’t see any one shadow in this palette that lacked pigmentation or was chalky in any way. The third shade in the middle ended up being almost like a clear glitter more than a shadow. I didn’t have a problem with that because I tried layering it over an eye primer and it worked fine. I’m not quite sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be, but it’s still useable.

I also love how this palette is so versatile. You can use these the neutral shades as a daytime eye look or apply the black, grey, or red for a more darker, smokey look. The black in the palette really surprised me in a good way. It is so crazy pigmented and probably one of the best black shadows I have. It’s also actually nice to have a red shadow in here since you hardly ever see red shadow. NYX did a good job at making it an actual good red shadow that you can use light or dark.

Once I applied the shadows with a primer, they stayed all day with no fading or creasing at all. Very happy with the quality and the staying power of these shadows, plus it being so affordable is nice too.

NYX Cosmetics The Sex Bomb Shadow Palette retails for $7.50 and can be found online or where NYX is sold (Will Vary).

Let me know what you think!

  2. If I hadn't seen it swatched, I would have never given the red shade a chance, but it is a gorgeous shade!
