Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup in Soft Honey - Photos and Review

January 20, 2014

Today I have a review of the Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup. I found this at CVS and was excited to give it a try. Other Covergirl foundations that I have tried have always been good quality. I picked Soft Honey which is just a tad dark for me at the moment, but it still works out. Find out more about this foundation and my review below!

When I bought this foundation, I wasn’t sure how well it was going to be for dry/sensitive skin. I applied it with my fingers and then blended it in with a buffing brush from Real Techniques. I noticed right away that it was blending nicely and it had a medium coverage. I have dry skin and I didn’t have any trouble with the formula, it felt nice and made my skin look more even. The foundation lasted all day and I had no dry spots which was good.

I actually really like this foundation. It doesn’t have a strong fragrance scent (or any scent) which is a plus for me since I can be allergic. The finish seemed to be semi-matte, so it wasn’t completely matte and the foundation still looked natural. It lasted all day and coverage was just enough to not be full coverage which is something I like as an everyday foundation.

Would I buy this again? Yes! I would definitely buy this foundation again.

Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup retails for $12.99 (price will vary) and can be found at Target, CVS, and where Covergirl is sold.
