Sample Saturday - NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

Today I have a sample of NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer to review. I prefer to use tinted moisturizers in the Summer since it's so hot. I've now noticed that it can be great to use a tinted moisturizer in the Winter as well since it gives great moisture and a lighter coverage than foundation. Find out more below!

More information about the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer:
Your skin – almost bare, but better. This advanced, oil-free formula provides a translucent veil of color and sun protection while helping to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and dark spots in just four weeks. Infused with lush, naturally derived botanicals and ingredients to immediately help thirsty skin feel hydrated. Kopara from French Polynesia and mineral rich seawater revive and re-mineralize skin for a softer, smoother, and brighter natural glow.

I ended up with the shade St.Moritz which ended up a a slight dark but it worked out once I blended it. This tinted moisturizer seemed different than other I have tried immediately by feeling it on my skin. As soon as I was applying it, it felt a lot thicker and creamier than other tinted moisturizers. That was a good thing since this is an expensive product for the full size. I felt using a flat top brush was the best way to blend this out and it gave me a more of an even coverage. I didn't use a moisturizer before I used this because I wanted to see how the hydration from this product would be. I was surprised at how immediately my skin felt hydrated and not as dry as before.

This claims to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and it does. I have a spot on my cheek and it didn't make it disappear completely, but it did make it less visible. That's the best coverage I've had from a tinted moisturizer product. I was happy to see that this lasted all day without fading or making my skin react in a bad way. The only downside is the price, which is $42. Even though that's pricey, for the quality and how well this works I would splurge at least once to have it in my makeup stash. I really enjoyed this product.
