The first 8 eyeshadows that I swatched were hit and miss. Some were pigmented and others were hard to get to show up. Eyeshadows 13-20 were better and seemed way more pigmented and easy to work with. The four blushes were not crazy pigmented, but for me that's okay since I don't like to overdue it with blush. #11 blush I have been using as a highlight and works great. When you get a palette like this, I feel like it's expected to not get every shadow super pigmented. There are going to be some that aren't that great but they are workable. With these I would use a good white base first to make the colors pop more. All my swatches are done without a base so you know exactly how they look.
Recommend? Yes, if you are wanting some decent eyeshadows for a good price. 10 out of 18 eyeshadows had good pigmentation and the others are still workable with a base. You can't go wrong with the sale price of this palette as well.
