Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons Palette - Photos, Swatches, and Review

December 2, 2012

Hi! Today I have a review on the Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons Palette. I purchased this recently with a $20 gift certificate from Sephora. I kept debating between this palette and the Too Faced Sweet Indulgence Palette. Sweet Indulgence comes with eye shadows and face products like bronzer and blush. I already have my usual face products that I use, so I figured this palette was more for me. See what I thought about it below!

How this palette is described by Too Faced:
This scrumptious collection is an indulgent treat for the eyes with 12 delicious shadows, our must-have ultra-black fluffing mascara, mirror and golden candlelight-inspired shadow primer. Designed to create a range of sweet to sassy, subtle to dramatic looks – any time of the year.

Shadow Bon Bons Palette includes:
12 High-Pigmented Eye Shadows
1 Full-sized LashGasm Mascara
1 Candlelight Shadow Insurance ( 0.17 oz.)

This is an overall amazing eyeshadow palette for the price you pay. All of the shadows are smooth and very pigmented. I had no trouble with fall out and they were easy to work with. Usually when I buy Too Faced palettes, I know the quality is going to be good for the money that I pay. I love all of the shadows and this has been my go to palette ever since I bought it. I've been using it everyday and I like the mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadow shades.

A few cons, since not every product is perfect. The colors are mostly neutral shades and no bright eyeshadows. For me personally, I wear neutral shades everyday so this is practical for me. Someone else might think this palette is boring and not for them. Also, the pricing for this is quite a bit. It retails for $42, which made me resist on buying it from the beginning. Once I got the $20 off a $50 purchase coupon, I knew this was the right time to ahead a buy it. If this was in my budget even before the coupon, I would definitely buy it knowing now how great the shadows are.

The other two products that come with the palette are great as well. I had never tried the Candlelight Shadow Insurance and I really like it. I have a review already of the LashGasm Mascara that I desperately need to update with pictures.

Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons Palette retails for $42 and can be found at Sephora and Too Faced online.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think!

♥ Stephanie
