Revlon Nail Art Style Strips in Splatter Paint - Photos and Review

October 8, 2012

I recently saw a Revlon display full of these Nail Art Style Strips and I knew I had to try them out. I bought Splatter Paint because I liked the blue with black design. I love nail stickers since they are easy to apply and no waiting around for my nails to dry. These from Revlon claim to last for 10 days. How did these hold up? Let's see!

I really loved these! They were really easy to apply, almost like the Sally Hansen ones. There weren't too many sizes though, and I messed up on my right pinky and had cut a bigger one. They stuck really well without them slipping off or sliding. I tried these new nail stickers from L'Oreal and they were awful! I don't know if I should review those, I couldn't even take a picture of them on my nails because they wouldn't stick! They were the worst ones I've ever tried.

These Revlon nail strips were great, but they didn't last 10 days at all. I noticed chipping just the next day of wearing these. They still looked good from a far, but up close you could see the chipping. I like these for the immediate effect and if I need to go somewhere and have my nails done in a snap. If you want long lasting nail art, maybe DIY or try the Sally Hansen strips.

Revlon Nail Art Style Strips in Splatter Paint retail for $9.99 and can be found at CVS or Walgreens.

Have you tried these? Let me know!

  2. i just did a review on these as well! i did NOT like them. i too experienced chipping the very next day. in my book, that's terrible! they were easy to apply, like my holy grail strips sally hansen, but the sizes were lacking and i found that they weren't as tacky/didn't stick as well as the SH ones. i'm surprised to read you still like them after all that you said! maybe it's because you like the style? i'm sticking with my tried and true. thanks for the review!! xx

  3. I hear you! I still ended up liking them mainly because of the design. I still got use out of them for a few days, but then took them off. I need to stick to Sally Hansen too! :)

  5. I think you should definitely review the L'Oreal stickers, your readers deserve to know that they suck!
I like the designe of these, and it's certainly less messy than a DIY splatter! But just one day of wear is a little short...
