Last day of July! This month flew by and just had to squeeze this review in before the month officially ends. It took me a while to get this review done, and I received this only a couple of weeks ago, so excuse my lateness. This is a sample box subscription service from beautybar,com with Allure magazine that comes with 5 beauty samples. This is the first box from them that I have received. Did I enjoy it? Let's see.

The eye cream was just okay. Nothing really fantastic, it's an eye cream. I liked the way it felt on my skin and it was not irritating, which was good. I will probably use it up but not a purchase for me.
Jouer moisture tint was my absolute favorite thing I got in this box. It happened to be the exact color I needed and I loved the way it made my skin glow from within. Or at least that's how my skin looked. It absorbed really well and lasted all day long. I will be buying the full size and use the $15 gift code to get it.
Meh. This was just Meh. I didn't really care for the smell and it kind of made my skin itchy once I put it on. Definitely not using this again.
I will most likely pass this on to someone instead of using it. Just doesn't sound like a product for me.
This was another product I really enjoyed. I've never tried anything from Vincent Longo and this duo lip pencil was amazing. I got Grape and Lavender Lite, which I am happy I ended up getting. I wore it a few times and the color stays long and is nicely pigmented. I would buy more of these in other colors.
Overall, I loved 2 products, 1 was semi-okay, and 2 were a no-go. Am I happy with this box? I would say yes! Being that I would have not tried and loved the Jouer tint and the Vincent Longo duo lop pencil without this box. Worth the $15 a month? So far yes. Once I use the gift code, I will update about how long it took to get the product, any problems, etc.

ReplyDeleteSo jealous your Jouer tint was the right one. Mine was too dark so I passed it on to my friend. I wasn't impressed with the smell either but I'm still finishing the bottle since I like to apply lotion to my hands at night. I like this month's box a lot!
