NOTD - Deborah Lippmann Girls Just Want to Have Fun

I was so excited to finally get my first Deborah Lippmann nail lacquer and in a great summer color. I actually bought this on Apothica.com last week and looks like just in time because it's now backordered. Even when I go to the Deborah Lippman website, it's temporarily sold out, so looks like it's a popular color. And as I should be.
This creme coral is one of the best polishes I own. The formula is smooth and super easy to work with. I know the price ($16 for this one) is a bit steep for a polish, but I would gladly pay that again for another.

Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm Review

I've had this laying around my room for almost a month now, and finally started using it last week. I guess I kind of gave up on finding a really good and cheap lip balm. I was using EOS lip balms for a while, which do work fine. I felt like they kind of stopped working once my lips got used to that formula. So I knew I needed to switch to something else.

Here is the product description of Neutrogena Naturals lip balm:
Vitamin E bionutrient balm nourishes and soothes with essential moisture. Long-lasting formula moisturizes and soothes lips with Vitamin E bionutrients to heal dry skin and keep lips looking healthy.

My review:
So when I used this, I was shocked that I could feel a difference in my lips instantly. I felt like the lip balm sunk into my skin immediately taking care of my dry lips and smoothing them out. It has a great minty smell which I love. If you hate things that taste or smell like peppermint, you might not enjoy this lip balm. So, of course a small downside. For me, I felt like there was no long-lasting with this lip balm. But I kind of didn't give it a chance, being that I kept re-applying it anyways because I love the way it feels. And for the price, $2.99 you cannot beat that to just try it out yourself. Definitely a re-purchase for me.

Let me know what you think of this lip balm!

NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream Review and Swatches

I recently heard about a website called beautyjoint.com from a fellow beauty blogger, where they sell NYX Cosmetics at a discounted price. I figured I would put in a small order just to try out the new matte lip creams. I received my lip products so fast, only 2 days after I had placed the order. I only bought 2 out of the 11 colors available, just in case I hated them.

NOTD - Jesse's Girl Flirt with OPI Silver Shatter

So my BFF bought me OPI Silver shatter for my Birthday yesterday (She obviously knows me so well) and couldn't wait to try it out. I have the black shatter, but I hardly ever use it. I like it, but I love the Silver shatter way more. My nails already had Jesse's Girl polish in Flirt, so I just decided to see how to the silver shatter would look. I was surprised that I ended up loving it! I felt the silver shatter was also way easier to work with than the black shatter.

Let me know what you think! Have you picked up OPI Silver Shatter?

NOTD - Barielle Do Unto Others

This NOTD post is a new Spring color from Barielle called Do Unto Others.
It's one of the most gorgeous and vibrant teal/aqua colored nail polishes that I own. Actually probably my only one in this certain shade.
Indoors with flash
Indoors without flash
I ended up doing 3 coats with this polish, I could of opted for 2 coats but you could slightly still see my nails. I've been wearing this color only for 2 days, but no chipping or peeling at all. I love this color so much, I will be wearing this polish all Spring/Summer!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils Review and Swatches

These 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils instantly caught my eye when I was at Macy's recently. I did swatches of every single color and came to the conclusion that, I need them all. Every color. I didn't buy any when I was there, but believe that I WILL go back and get them all. I did do swatches of all of them on my hand while I was in the store and tested them out throughout the day. I tested them through water, rubbing, wiping, etc. Let's see how it went.
 Top: Wasteland
From Left to right straight row: Clinic, Narc, Lit, Sin, Barracuda, Delinquent, Morphine
Bottom 3: Clash, Rehab, Midnight Cowboy

Here is how they are described on the Urban Decay website:
Big and blendable, this 2-in-1 waterproof 24/7 shadow pencil keeps going as long as you do. Our next generation of famous 24/7 pencils can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or both!

 My Review:
Right when I started swatching these on my hand, I noticed something right away. That they dry super fast! I try to take a couple off to make room for more, but by the time I did, they were not going anywhere. They are extremely budge-proof and smudge-proof. Every single color has intense pigmentation and are all amazing colors. Once I got home, I knew I had to try the water test. I run my hand in water and try to wipe off whatever will come off. None of the swatches were moving. Just as I expected from Urban Decay. These 24/7 Glide-On Shadow pencils are pure genius. The way I got them off was with an oil-based makeup remover. Took me a while, but they of course came off with not too big of a fuss. I'm definitely going back to get them all!

Have you tried these? What do you think?
