Review: Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo + Conditioner

I need to start doing some hair care reviews, so here is my first one. I never really do them, because to be honest, I'm really low maintenance on my hair. I wash it, air dry, and that's usually it. My hair is also super thick, wavy, and a football field long so you get what I mean. lol.

I like to switch hair products every 2-3 months usually with the way my hair is. So I bought Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo and Condition this time around.

Here is a close up on what it says on the bottles:
I was going to go by what smelled the best, but then I saw each one has different ingredients doing different things. And believe that I bought by what was in it, because I hate coconut. I never liked it. lol

My Review on Shampoo:
I didn't like the consistency at first. It feels like jello in your hands. I got used to it now and it doesn't bother me. I only had to use a small amount for all my hair, which was really great.

My Review on Conditioner:
It makes my hair extremely touchable and smooth. My hair seemed easier to work with. I have to say I'm loving how it makes my hair smell so good for days until my next wash. I still will not eat coconut, but it seems good enough for my hair!

So, my number one tip when buying this shampoo or any of the other scents, go for what you think your hair needs and what's in the ingredients, not by the smell.

And this week, Organix is on sale at CVS for $4.99 each! Check your local store!

  1. I love the smell of coconut but not really the taste. I have a coconut scented body butter and I want to eat it each time I used it.

    Great review ^.^

  3. I saw a few of the Organix line on clearance at my Target recently. I'm so tempted to try them but I have a dry itchy scalp and very few companies make formulas that don't give me the case of the itchies. =/

  4. Thanks for the heads up on the sale. Organix's Mint one and Mandarin Olive ones are great too; try those if you want next. This line always keeps my hair bouncy, shiny and breakage-free. tried Lush's Godiva shampoo recently and I like Organix soo much more. here's my review of that if you want:
